Las Piñas City government recognized for excellence in human resource management

The City Government of Las Piñas was awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on Tuesday, January 16th, at the Las Piñas City Hall, marking a milestone in the city's journey towards institutionalizing meritocracy and excellence in human resource management.

The award was presented to City Mayor Imelda Aguilar and City Vice Mayor April Aguilar by Director Laura D. Mangorangca of the CSC NCR Regional Office, in recognition of the city's achievement in obtaining Maturity Level 2 in the Enhanced Program To Institutionalize Meritocracy And Excellence In Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM). This recognition highlights Las Piñas City's dedication to enhancing its Recruitment, Selection and Placement, and Learning and Development systems.

PRIME-HRM, a program initiated by the CSC, is designed to elevate human resource management in government agencies. It serves as a transformative tool, integrating and enhancing the Personnel Management Assessment and Assistance Program (PMAAP) and the CSC Agency Accreditation Program (CSCAAP). The program's objective is to develop competencies, systems, and practices in human resource management, steering agencies towards HR excellence.

In a short table discussion, Director Mangorangca commended the City Government of Las Piñas for its exemplary performance in human resource management. She highlighted the importance of PRIME-HRM in fostering a culture of excellence and accountability in government service.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar expressed her gratitude for the recognition and reiterated her administration's commitment to upholding the highest standards in public service.
